My End to End

I have set out below an account of my end-to-end as an insight into what the ride experience might be like.  I have also included the route sheets I used and copies of the bloggy sort of emails my wife sent to friends and relatives whilst I was en-route in the Appendix.

Please be aware that I took no notes whilst on the ride and only wrote it up many months later so my memory was scant and, quite frankly, because of the main road route there was not that much to note.

However I rode end to end again in 2013 (and 2014!), this time in the more traditional direction from Land’s End upward.  On that occasion I was following a route spat out by Google Maps when they first started beta testing mapping for cycles.  The plan was to follow the route no matter what to see how good a job Google did.

This time I took lots of notes and pictures.  I have written up the whole experience as a book that is available for download direct from this site as a pdf, .mobi or .epub file. This gives a much greater insight into what you might expect to experience along the route.   You can download the 200+ page book of my experience by clicking on the PayPal Buy button and donating £2.99 or £5 towards the site.

If you would like to try before you buy you can download a 60 page FREE SAMPLE by clicking on the cover image below (I will then send you a link, which might appear in your Junk folder).
